GHA Discovery Platinum Status - Instantly!
GHA Hotels have some stunning luxury properties, like the incredible Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Oman or the Outrigger Castaway Island in Fiji. They have more than 35 luxury hotel brands, including:

GHA Discovery Platinum status requires staying 10 nights at GHA hotels in a year, but there’s a way to get Platinum status instantly.
The benefits are quite good. Starting with the guaranteed basics:

Then you have the interesting benefits that are unique to GHA Discovery:

These last two have the usual “upon availability” disclaimer but you’re very likely to be able to take advantage.
When I stayed at the Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar I was pleased to be upgraded. I was even more pleased when someone arrived at my room to deliver a bottle of Prosecco, a fruit platter, and a plate of tapas, “to say thank you for being a Platinum member”.
The room upgrade alone was worth over £250 for my stay, but the extra touch of the food and wine made for a fantastic start to my stay.
A late checkout till 3pm can be a valuable benefit in any hotel if it fits your schedule better, but in the sort of luxury hotels you can book through GHA Discovery the value can be enormous.
Those additional few hours in your luxury room with incredible views means having extra opportunity to enjoy the pool or the spa or the restaurant, or just having more time to shower and pack so that you get an extra morning free to go out and explore. That can make a big difference to your stay.
The “Local Amenity” will typically be a local wine or some craft trinket, which can make nice souvenirs or even a cheeky gift for someone at home on your return.
The “Local Experience” can be much more interesting. They vary by location and are things like “cooking lessons, golf courses, fitness classes, and behind-the-scenes tours of museums”.
There are different experiences available depending on stats. For GHA Discovery Platinum status you can also expect things like wine tasting, spa treatments, romantic dinners for two, sunset boat trips, and so on, depending on the location.
At the Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar you could have a cocktails and canapés service at sunset overlooking the valley.
