Birmingham Airport “train to plane saver”
Did you know you can travel by train between London Euston and Birmingham Airport for just £12 each way with tickets that allow you to travel on any train throughout the day?
London Northwestern railway have launched Train to Plane Saver offering cheap fares between Birmingham Airport (BHX) and Birmingham, London, and 49 stations on the West Midlands network including Milton Keynes and Liverpool.
You can buy the special low-cost fares online before you travel. Tickets are delivered by email and are non-refundable.
The tickets allow you to take any London Northwestern Railway or West Midlands Railway train on the Train to Plane Saver route at any time of day. You buy a ticket for the day you want, but can pick any train with no need to pre-book.
- A one-way ticket between London Euston and BHX is £12
- Between BHX and Birmingham New Street station costs just £2
- From Milton Keynes or Northampton the tickets are just £8 each way
The station at BHX is called Birmingham International. Trains to London Euston run 3 times per hour taking less than 2 hours.
There is just one travel class, Standard class, which includes free onboard wifi. You can only buy online.
