Leeds Bradford Airport parking

LBA offers direct booking for airport parking. Everything except the Long Stay is walkable in a couple of minutes.

The meet & greet drop off area is no closer than the premium short stay, and both are only a minute further than regular short stay.

Leeds Bradford Airport lounges

There are 4 lounges at LBA, with different prices and different levels of service. They are all next to each other and easy to find.

The prices before 1st April 2020 are currently a few pounds lower than listed below, but there is a price rise from 1st April.

Opening times – entry from 5am to 6pm, closing at 8pm (opens 4am in October only)
Maximum stay – 3 hours
Pre-booking – Yes
Walk-in – Yes
Upgrades – Paid upgrades (£10) to the 1432 Runway Club may be available

Airline access (business class passengers)

Flybe/Aer Lingus – The Yorkshire Lounge
KLM/British Airways – The White Rose Suite

Lounge passes (subject to availability)

Priority PassThe White Rose Suite
Dragon Pass – The Yorkshire Lounge

The Yorkshire Lounge - £30

Snacks, filter coffee, wine and beer.

The White Rose Suite - £36

Better buffet food but still not all that great. Better coffee, and a wider range of spirits.

1432 Runway Club - £40

The main differences are in terms of style and comfort, as it is smaller and quieter, and the premium food and drink. It offers Prosecco as well as wine, and has better hot food options. Unlike the two cheaper lounges, it has a bathroom inside the lounge.

Aero Club - £50

The newest addition is the premium Aero Club lounge, which is due to open in May. This lounge, like the 1432 Runway Club, is not likely to become available through Priority Pass.

NB It isn’t completely clear whether Aero Club is a completely new lounge or in fact a rebadging of the 1432 Runway Club. To See the World is awaiting details to clarify this.

It’s not yet clear whether it will be possible for a Priority Pass cardholder to pay an upgrade fee for access the the Aero Club as they can with the 1432.

Aero Club is being positioned as a “first class” lounge. As the most expensive, it is likely to be the quietest and most comfortable. It has a dedicated bathroom, unlike the two cheaper lounges.

Aero Club offers runway views, made-to-order seasonal food, and includes complimentary Prosecco and premium drinks.

Priority Pass

Compare the £36 cost for the White Rose longe against Priority Pass.

With the Standard Plus membership you would be paying £18.90 for each of your first 10 lounge visits, less if you take advantage of one of the frequent joining promos.

You can get a £36 discount off the price of Priority Pass Standard Plus membership using 75 Heathrow Rewards points. You can get 100 points just for joining via this link.

50 points will get you £30 off the standard membership, and 100 points knocks £52 off the prestige membership.

You also get unlimited Priority Pass visits through the American Express Platinum Card.

You should note however that lounge access with Priority Pass is subject to availability. If the lounges are busy, you won’t get in. The lounges at LBA are relatively small, so this does happen quite often.

I had no trouble getting in, but others report regular failures. It requires a little luck to avoid a busy day.

Leeds Bradford Airport fast track

Fast track security passes can be bought for £5, or £3 if you also book parking. Book premium short stay parking and get free fast track passes.

Oddly, you don’t get free fast track if you book meet & greet parking.
